Grantee Spotlights

As your grant progresses, we encourage you to share your stories with us. By doing so, we can help amplify your organization’s presence in the community and harness the power of storytelling to expand your reach, attract more resources, and enhance your impact.

Whenever appropriate, we’d love to spotlight your organization. While we may not be able to feature every story, we will do our best! After submitting your story, our communications team may reach out for additional details. Personal narratives about how the grant has made a difference will foster connections, helping others relate to and engage with your organization.

Your story may be shared in our newsletter, posted to our social media pages, and published on our Grantee Spotlight webpage. Visit the page here to see examples of Spotlights. (If you plan to share names and images of clients or individuals connected to your grant, please ensure you have a signed photo release from your organization, or feel free to use the Greater Rochester Health Foundation photo release form.)

Submit your stories, ideas, and events to Communications Officer Tiana Flynn anytime during the grant cycle and as often as you’d like.

A Note on Language: We are learning and working to be antiracist and equitable in our actions and language, which continues to evolve. We strive to use language that is as inclusive as possible – believing that language is a form of “seeing” and valuing the richly diverse and intersecting communities we serve. We are committed to inviting and listening to different perspectives and preferences.
